During the most recent water testing for the Reg Bursey well it has been bought to our attention that the arsenic level had increased above the maximum acceptable concentration. Due to this increase NL Health Services has issued a non-consumption advisory for this well. For residents serviced by the Reg Bursey well safe alternate sources of water for drinking, cooking and consumption should be used. Bottled water or sources known to be safe would be acceptable. This water can still be used for washing, cleaning, bathing and other household uses.
